PhD Marzena Feldy, Manager of the Laboratory(marzena.feldy@opi.org.pl)Doctor of Economics in the discipline of management science, assistant professor at OPI and the Institute of National Defence Management. She graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics and the Department of Psychology of the University of Warsaw, as well as Chinese government scholar under the EU WINDOW programme. Gained research experience inter alia at UNESCAP in Bangkok, where she completed an internship in statistics. She is interested in the topic of consumer behavior on the Internet, which resulted in her publication “Online Stores”. The book, published by Wolters Kluwer, took second place in the competition of Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily “Economicus 2013″ in the category “best business and economics guide” .

PhD Jacek Bieliński,(jacek.bielinski@opi.org.pl)
Leading specialist for research ,assistant professor at the Institute of Sociology at Collegium Civitas, Head of Research and Analysis Centre at Collegium Civitas. He specializes in studies using quantitative techniques; pursued research for purely academic purposes, as well as commercial ones. Participated in research projects on policies to tackle unemployment, values of the so-called JPII generation, political elites in the districts, hate speech in the Polish public sphere. He is involved in non-governmental organizations, is a member of the board of the Foundation “Wiedza Lokalna” (Local Knowledge) and co-founder and president of the Independent Cultural Initiative Association.

Marta Bojko (marta.bojko@opi.org.pl)
A graduate of Mathematics Faculty at the University of Warsaw and quantitative methods in economics and information systems at the Warsaw School of Economics. Her professional interests focus around broadly understood data analysis, in particular econometric and statistical methods. In her research work is interested in the effectiveness of science and innovation policy. Her free time is spent practicing all possible water sports.

Anna Knapińska(anna.knapinska@opi.org.pl)
Doctoral student at the Department of Sociology of Collegium Civitas, graduate of the University of Warsaw. Trained as a journalist, for several years editor -in-chief of the monthly “Sprawy Nauki (Matters of Science)”. Author of many popular texts on science policy, cooperation between the science and the economy sectors, importance of Polish research. Her research interests include changes in the Polish R&D sector, women’s participation in research and scientific, educational and social activity of elderly researchers and scientists, along with the master -disciple relationship.

Barbara Kowalczyk (barbara.kowalczyk@opi.org.pl)
PhD student at the Department of International Economics at the University of Economics in Poznan, graduated from the Academy of Regional Development and Evaluation at the Centre for European Regional and Local Studies at the Warsaw University. Participated in over twenty research and commercial projects. Author or co-author of several books and articles on innovation, entrepreneurship, R&D sector. For several years associated with evaluation research, including the initial (ex-ante) and final evaluation (ex -post) of programmes and individual projects. Privately, passionate about mountains, travel, Zumba and film music.

Luigi Lai (luigi.lai@opi.org.pl)
Technical and research specialist and lawyer. Holder of a law degree, he studied at universities in Italy, Spain and Poland, now a PhD student at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Warsaw University. Author of many scientific and popular articles on legal issues. He is passionate about new technologies and architecture.

Maciej Ostaszewski (maciej.ostaszewski@opi.org.pl)
Sociologist. Currently researches the attitudes of the academic and scientific community to various forms of open models in science, wants to dedicate his doctoral thesis to the issue of open science. Coordinator of various projects on the borderline of sociology of science and institutional and geographical mobility of Polish scientists. Scientific interests focus on new open forms of communication and distribution of scientific knowledge, as well as social and civic aspects of new Internet technologies. In his spare time he follows the pop culture developments, likes to travel and adores Slavoj Žižek.

Monika Joanna Szyszko(monika.szyszko@opi.org.pl)
Social psychologist. She graduated from the inter-faculty doctoral studies at the Robert B. Zajonc Institute for Social Studies of the University of Warsaw. She worked as a teaching and research assistant in the Department of Personality Psychology at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw. Obtained scholarship for the ICPSR Program organized by the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is passionate about statistical analysis and interdisciplinary research on non-local consciousness. Member of The Laszlo Institute of New Paradigm Research.

Piotr Teisseyre(piotr.teisseyre@opi.org.pl)
Sociologist, graduate of the Faculty of Sociology at the University of Warsaw. Enthusiast of data visualization on maps and charts. His interests include the data analysis and the issues concerning welfare state. For several years he has been associated with non-governmental organizations. Author of scientific publications and one of the precursors of the data journalism in Poland. Assistant review editor at the magazine “Stan Rzeczy” (“State of Affairs”). He loves mountains, skiing, running and biking.

Aldona Tomczyńska(aldona.tomczynska@opi.org.pl)
PhD student at the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the University of Warsaw, graduate of the Institute of International Relations at same university. Obtained scholarship at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. She specializes in the political economy of international relations and foreign policy of the United States. Conducts research on the effectiveness of economic sanctions and blockades of technology transfer, and nature of economic coercion. She is interested in the political and economic consequences of technological progress, and effective forms of promotion of Polish science.

Łukasz Widła-Domaradzki (lukasz.widla@opi.org.pl)
An expert in the field of statistics and quantitative methods for almost 20 years. He worked as a researcher in market and social research companies as well as governmental agencies. He’s fluent in SPSS package, using also Statistica, Stata ansd SAS packages. He’s specialist in the field of software for structural equation modeling (SEM) and PLS (partial least squares modeling). He worked as a lecturer on the use of quantitative techniques in evaluations for Kozminski University, conducted trainings in SPSS or quantitative methods in evaluation for public administration, e.g. in Academy of Evaluation or Ministry of National Defense. Privately he’s interested in modern music, bicycle trekking & trips, good wine, interesting whiskies and literature.
