This publication contains the results of an evaluation research whose purpose was to gather information concerning the impact of Framework Research Programmes of the European Union on the research sector in Poland.
In order to achieve the mentioned objective, an evaluation of concluded projects, which had Polish participants, was made. This research is the first attempt at analyzing the effects of Polish research projects, funded from that source.
This publication is addressed to a wide audience, however, the results of this research are especially important for representatives of the public bodies, who have their part in deciding about the scope of the support of participation in Framework Programmes of different organizations. The analysis, featured in this work, should also be useful for beneficiaries of Framework Programmes who already have experience in such projects and are willing to participate further in future.
