The representatives of the institutions involved in the implementation of the Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme in Poland – the Swiss Contribution Office, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development and the National Information Processing Institute – participated in theon-site visit at the University of Gdansk.
They have visited two projects within Polish-Swiss Research Programme:
– “Design of BTLA inhibitors as new drugs against melanoma” (PSPB 070/2010) – Principal Investigator: Assistant Professor Sylwia Rodziewicz-Motowidło, PhD
– ”Climate of northern Poland during the last 1000 years: Constraining the future with the past (CLIMPOL)” (PSPB-086/2010) – Principal Investigator: Assistant Professor Wojciech Tylman, PhD
Project teams presented their work environment and main results of the undertaken activities within the project. Their outstanding outcomes demonstrated the benefits of the scientific knowledge exchange between Polish and Swiss partners.
