Notice, what is important

New application of a technique previously used in teaching the blind can direct the viewer’s attention on what is essential.

Projects carried out by us as part of the study of audio description verify the effectiveness of its use as a tool for increasing the effectiveness of cognitive tasks in children. Said projects examine to what extent its use increases the effectiveness of learning and memorizing material by children.

By directing the visual attention of children, audio description contributed to increasing the efficiency of their work. The findings can serve as guidelines for developers of teaching materials.

We are also exploring the scope of utility of audio description (Reading practices andListen to the image).
