Archival project
The main premise of project launch was the apparent lack of both regional systems, and a uniform national system for providing services to small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of broadly defined technology transfer and support of innovation.
Ośrodek Przetwarzania Informacji (OPI) in Warsaw is one of two institutions implementing STIM in the Mazovia Province. The idea of the project is to build a universal regional, with capacity for expanding into nationwide, network of access to information services and advice. The project was aimed at small and medium-sized companies as recipients of technology, as well as at scientific institutions and companies providing advanced technology services. The size of the target group in the region was about fifty thousand companies in the SME sector.
